This will be a summarised post of the mentoring freshman orientation camp.

1st day

It was when I met my group members. They were all very active. Like what I had predicted, when everyone was having dinner, they would definitely ask all the group leaders to gather for a briefing. At that time, I was so hungry. I did not for like 7 hours or more. Frankly speaking, I did not hear anything because I was way behind and blocked.
I was proud of myself as a ghost. From the feedbacks, I was the scariest ghost. It was really very tough. I had to sit there for a few hours. Most of them who walked pass either said I am a fake person and I am sleeping. My group members did not even recognize me. They were quite independent as my partner and I had to leave early for preparation of the night walk and make up for ghost respectively.

2nd day

All the sub-com, camp helpers and group leaders had to wake up earlier than everyone for briefing. A lot of us slept at 6 plus in the morning because of the night walk. But, lucky I had at least 2 hours of sleep compared to some of them who only had 1. In the afternoon, we won first in one of the major games. I was surprised as I thought we were quite slow. It was then my fever got back. At night, they persuaded me to go home when my temperature became 40 degree Celsius. They took quite a lot effort to persuade me. Anyway, thank you people for you concern!

3rd day

Because of my illness, I could hardly sleep. But, I was so afraid that my mother would ask me to do housework that I intentionally “slept” until 12. I thought my temperature gone down but I was so wrong. After a cold bath, I measured my temperature again. It was 39 degree Celsius. So, my dad asked me to consult a doctor. He fetched me there but I had to walk home myself. I was wondering what was the doctor doing as he took so long for each patient. I think that the medicine is effective because after three hours of sleep, my fever is gone. So, I went back to school to see my group members. I did not even say anything to them when I left last night. Anyway, they got first for another major game-amazing race! So pro of them! They were really fast. I feel so proud to be their group leader.
