A simple day
Today, like every other day where I do not have to work, I would sleep until 1p.m. This is how late I wake up when I do not switch on my hand phone alarm clock. After brushing my teeth, my bathe and having breakfast, I sat down at the sofa to watch television programme until about 4p.m. Then, I packed my bag to get ready to go out.
Before meeting my friend, I went to Bukit Merah Central to do a little shopping. While walking, I saw a number of juniors. Well, I do not know them. But, perhaps they are from my secondary school so I say they are my juniors. I miss my school so much. When I opened up the cup board to place cleaned glasses at my working place, I found that the smell of the glasses and cup board was so familiar to me. It was the smell of my school science lab. Those were the days which will never return again.
It had been 1 year and 16 days since I last saw my friend. The last time when I saw him was when we met up for a movie named ‘I Not Stupid’. I still keep the movie ticket with me so I know. Like some other friends, he had asked me out for quite a number of times but I was always busy with something. Seriously, I think he has become a little more muscular than before. I guess it is due to his training in NS. He is in the diver side which is so cool. I asked him some weird questions like did he get to see sharks. Anyway, he told me that he saw a very big jellyfish on the surface of the water before. It is so cool! After walking around at Tiong Bahru Plaza to shop for his stuff, we walked to the playground nearby there.
What is so special about the playground? Nowadays, it is rather difficult to find a playground with sanded ground and with swings. There were quite a number of people when we reached there. We actually sat a distance away from the swings to wait and chat at the same time. A moment later, we shifted nearer to the swings to wait. It was only awhile later then we got to play. He was so weird today. He kept saying I kept peeping at him. So, I said if you were not looking at me, how did you know that I was looking at you? He said that he could feel it. What a weird guy. I swear that I did not peep at him at all. Anyway, he was so nice too. I forgot what he said to me when he passed me a bar of Ferrero Rocher chocolate. If I am not wrong, he said he accidentally bought one for me. He is still always like that. Later, he actually used one the wrapper to make into a rose for me. That gold rose which I always see on TV commercial for Ferrero Rocher. Sadly, I lost it on my way home. He had to book in early tomorrow morning so we bided goodbye rather early.
Tomorrow till Sunday would be my working marathon because I have to work from 10a.m. to 11p.m. for each day. This is what I do when I have nothing to do. It is so much better than staying at home and using my computer for the whole day.
